What are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are a form of dental restoration used for enhancing or restoring the outer visible surfaces of the teeth. They are bonded onto teeth with a resin (plastic) cement to enhance the color, shape, length and sometimes position of the teeth.

  • Improved aesthetics.

  • Durable-approaching the strength of natural teeth
  • Conservative compared to crown preparation
  • Dramatic results in relatively short time – 2-3 weeks, 4 appointments
How they work

Porcelain veneers are placed so precisely they are undetectable to the human eye. The veneers, made of laboratory-processed porcelain, are bonded tightly to the surface of the tooth; the porcelain veneer can even provide additional strength to the overall tooth structure.
